I want to try to keep this one short and sweet, but I want more to make sure I let you know what’s going on here.  So, without any further delays, here we go.

I managed to ship all the outstanding orders this week except a few that need molds replaced and a couple that just came in late in the week.  If you are still waiting for an order from before I re-opened, you should have received an email explaining the delay.  If not, please email me ASAP!  Something is wrong and I need to hear from you!

If you ordered in the last 7-10 days and have not received shipping notification, then your order has been cast and will ship as soon as the Labor Day holiday is over.

You can start ordering again!  I am back to full operations!  Now spread the word.  Tell your buddies TMD is back and better than ever.

The shop is now put together.  It is still a mess from the scramble to get all the outstanding orders shipped, but, otherwise, I can operate as usual.  There is a LOT more room in the shop now, and it is easier to work than it was in the old shop.  I even have room for expansion.  I’ll post pictures next week — after I’ve cleaned up a bit.  Anyway, the point is: the new shop should serve us both well in the future.  It will make me more efficient, which means faster service for you.

I am putting the finishing touches on my new master and paint benches this weekend.  I’ll post pictures of those, too.  But I hesitate to do that because — honestly — I feel bad about showing off my new modeling space.  It is the best I have ever had and I feel a little guilty about it.  But I can say this: I can’t wait to get back to mastering, and that will be good for everyone who likes the TMD line.

Finally, I have had it.  My body is giving up on me.  I have simply pushed this old, out of shape tub of lard I call my body too hard for too long.  Every joint I have aches.  I wake up hurting.  So, General BB has commanded that I shall not work from now until Tuesday morning.  I can build, but only for me.  Otherwise, I am under an involuntary 72-hour ban on all TMD operations (sorry).

OK, that’s all I have for now.  More next week.  Until then, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).

  1. Joe, on the knees, if you have problems there, I heartily recommend a full replacement on each to give you a new lease on life. I have two myself. A hip is good I am told, and much easier to get over than knees, but knees are better than rotator cuffs, but those help tremendously, too. I am 62 now, going on 3 years with the final of the knee surgeries and I am doing stuff I had to quit doing when I was about 36.
Hope this is some help. God’s common grace to all of his creation includes medicine from the minds God gave men, even unbelievers. So I thank God every single day that I remember what it was like before.
