There’s only one way to describe how I feel right now, and I’m going to let Yosemite Sam say it for me:
I’m sorry, but I am not going to have anything for you today — and that’s why I am feeling like Yosemite Sam. It’s going to be next Friday before the next batch of products are ready for release.
PRODUCTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT
I am sooo close with sooo many new resin goodies, I almost want to cry. But I have to be honest: they just aren’t ready and, if I try to push them out anyway, all I am going to do is make next week so miserable I won’t do anything but the absolute minimum necessary. That’s how I mess up, and I am just not going to do that — not this time, anyway.
5 different sets for hanging spare track on the turret of your Panther — complete with spare track links.I have the spare track storage sets that go on the hull for the D, A and G models, complete with the track, pins and chain.I also have spare track hangers for the hull that have been field-modified to hold spare road wheels.I have 4 spare road wheels ready to go: 1 clean, and 3 more, each representing a different method of mounting on the turret/hull. I am working on moreI have very thin exhaust pipes for the D, A, A-triple stack and G. Mounting brackets, jack mounts and shields are in the works.
I have a whole lot more coming, but the masters for these items are finished. I just need to make the production molds and take the product pictures before I can release them.
I am also working on the T29/30/34 hull. I have the spare track holder finished, and am just about finished with the mufflers and mounts. There are justa few more items I want to finish before we release the last of the lower hull details and put this kit to bed for good.
As soon as the Takom mid Lee kits hit, we’ll finish with that series, as well.
I had to make some new molds for a couple orders, but — as of this moment — the oldest order in house is from March 27, and that is one of the orders waiting on the new molds to cure.
BTW: those molds are in the oven right now and will be ready to go by the end of the day.
OTHER COMPANY BUSINESS
I put off this weeks releases so I can get the production molds finished, proper pictures taken and — hold on to your socks — instruction sheets made! Yeah, I know, but it is about time I start slowing down and doing things correctly instead of running around in a rush all the time. So, next Friday, you will finally be able to start hanging spare track and road wheels on your Panthers without having to buy a lot of extra track and kits and making the hangers from scratch.
All I am going to say about me and my world this week is this — again:
Well, that’s all I have for now. So, until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
