2018.5.18 UPDATE: A Little ‘Push’

Hello Friends,

This was one of those weeks.  Sort of had to force myself to work, but I managed to do some of what I had planned.  Still, I think I am going to need to make a little ‘push’ on the next release date.

No new products this week, sorry. Also, I had planned my next release date for next Friday, May 25, but I am going to give that date a little ‘push.’  I am now aiming to release the next items on June 1 (and that is now a firm date!).

The U.S. T29/T30/T34 series and M3 Lee/Grant stuff is about 85-90% done, but I might not managed to give them the extra ‘push’ they need in time for the next release date.  Cross your fingers.

I have several more Panther stowage masters ready or nearing completion.  This time, I am working on another road wheel storage mount, several  Jerry can mounts, several un-ditching beams and mounts, and a few other surprises that you’ve seen in pictures but might not have expected anyone would ever make.

As of this moment, there are only 5 out-standing orders in the shop, and all of them came in over the last 24 hours.  I should be able to knock them all out by Tuesday next week.

I now have 8 returned orders.  I have no idea what is going on, all I can do is keep asking you to contact me if you are missing an order.

I am going to email the gentleman who has been helping me with this project and ask him about another option.  If it works, I might just throw money at this problem.  I simply do not have the time to 1 — learn what I need to know or 2 — do it.  I guess this is one of those areas where wisdom and humility must prevail.  In this case, being wise enough to know when you need help and humble enough to ask for it.

The shop is in good shape, but it still needs some long-term clean-up.  If BB will let me take some time away from my weekend house chores, I might try getting some of this done this weekend.

This is where things get ‘hinky,’ as Abby would say (Abby: think NCIS).  Anyway, my health is fine and I am still loosing weight.  The house is fine and I am slowly finishing my chores.  Things with BB are great, the shop rats are good, the rest of the family is all good — everything is good…and that may be the problem.  When things are this good, I find it difficult to get my old Marine butt back up on on the  march.  I’m not depressed or anything like that, I guess I am just chasing after too many squirrels.  Maybe some new orders would help.  At least then I would have something that would force me to get to work and that might roll over to the rest of my job (HINT-HINT 😉  )

Well, that’s all I have for now.  So, until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
