I had hoped to have been able to get more done this week, but — as usual — I did not anticipate or plan for the usual unexpected time-suckers. However, it wasn’t a totally busted week; it was more like a ‘wait-a-minute’ vine type of a week. You still make progress, but it’s like something keeps pulling at your feet the whole time you are fighting your way through the brush.
My EBay sales went well — almost too well. Shipping everything out cost me an entire day. Anyway, there are still a lot of things that did not sell and will be getting re-listed this weekend, so it might be worth taking a look sometime later this weekend or early next week.
I have some new stuff for you. I was not able to get all the molds made in time to take pictures of the castings, so I am going to use pictures of the masters — for now. Just as soon as I can get hold of Karl and make sure I understand how to list everything, they will go up. But the prize releases for this weekend will be the General Steel and Continental Steel M4A1 Large Hatch upper hulls. The Continental hull is the asymmetrical hull that many of you seem to want, so…
Just watch for the next post. It may come late tonight (Friday) or sometime tomorrow morning, but it is coming. All the new releases will be listed in that post.
PRODUCTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT
I am back on the Panther and Bergepanther goodies. I apologize, but I needed my summer break. However, I am starting to really warm back up and am ready to get back to work. Watch for a mid-month release. I hope to push out the last of the external storage items I keep promising.
THE WEB SITE
If all goes well, I will be getting back to the new web site this next month. I think I finally figured out what I want to do and how to let my helper from across the pond have access to my host site so he can help me make it all happen. I’ll keep you posted.
One other new thing I am going to do — and do soon — is start using my blog page to post updates and other TMD news and information. Once this goes live, I’ll make sure everyone knows about it. It will be much easier to keep up with me, with new releases and with a lot of other information once we go live with the blog. It will also work like a news letter, as well. It just won’t be quite as annoying (I hope).
The sale started fairly slow, so I was able to keep up with the orders. I think the oldest order in house right now is only a week old? But you guys are stampeding right now, and I have to make a few molds, so things will be a little slow getting out of here next week — especially since I have a date with some big cast Tuesday.
The week started out a little slow. I went to Ft. Benning to spend some time with the kitties there. Then the week ended slow, as well. I had some family time today, and loved it, but it was still a ‘wait-a-minute” vine in the work week. Still, I am good. I am getting back on my diet Monday, and I need to finally get back to trying to work out a little bit. BB says our new ‘Chuck Norris’ gym is fun and easy to use. I’m sure it will help if I can lose a little weight and get back into some semblance of shape. But even as I am, I feel good and am eager to get my fat butt back on my master bench where it belongs. So, all-in-all, it was a bit of a frustrating week, but it was a good week.
THAT IS ALL
Well, that’s all I have for now. So, until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
